Urban terror is a 100% free game. It is described as a "hollywood tactical shooter" with the objective "fun over realisim."
The gameplay is fast, and the graphics are average. It was built on the quake 3 engine, is standalone, and needs absolutley no registration to play.
It's weapons are fairly few (I think there's only nine primary weapons, but I'm not sure,) but they are ballanced. There are 2 sidearms, and 2 pistols. There are smoke grenades HE grenades, tac goggles, kevlar vest, helmet, silencer, and laser sight that you can choose from as your items. You are only alowed 1 primary gun and 3 other items, weather its a secondary, nades and a vest, or something else, you have to choose between them.
The current version is 4.1, but 4.2 is pending release.
It's a fun game, and the servers are well populated. Come and play =)
